Les Lavandes — Near Constans, Valroufié

Les Lavandes sleeps 4 people plus a baby in a travelcot. It is open all year and offers gas central heating with a woodburning stove for those colder months.

One of two gites, Les Lavandes is a stone, detached cottage in 2.5 acre hilltop gardens in the hills of a national park about 8 minutes from Cahors. Relax in the peace and quiet yet be close to the vibrant, market town of Cahors with its twice market, shops and restaurants.

There are two bedrooms on the first floor - a double mezzanine which you cross to reach the twin.

Living/dining room with ample seating, TV with DVD player and English Freeview and French television channels, stereo with ipod dock, sunroom with foc wifi, separate well-equipped kitchen (oven, hob, microwave, washing machine, toaster, kettle, blender, coffee percolator, iron and ironing board, all the glasses, crockery and cutlery you'll need), ground floor, tiled shower room with WC. Private terrace with pergola, BBQ and table and chairs.

The fenced saltwater swimming pool with large surrounding terrace enjoys comanding views over the hills, a solar shower, table tennis table, sunloungers and parasols. This is shared with the second gite and the owners who use it late pm on hot days.

The childrens play area includes a wendy house, sandpit, swings, slides and a trampoline.

Fans in both bedrooms and a hairdryer is provided.

Bedding and towels are provided, including pool towels from end May.
